[sEcOndS] An Architecture Of Time, Seized By Mere Intelligence Of Light Engineering

Planning is the key. 2 years ago when I’ve just started photography, I have this belief that as photographer, we should just let our emotion flies with our imagination, taking those shots wildly and randomly, hoping for a surprising result. Sadly, the only surprising thing that comes out is intense frustration and time wasting spent on deleting those ‘useless’ photos. When we are in the process of learning, we need to spend some time making sense of what we are trying to understand. This goes the same to the art of photography. We learn what a good composition is, and think about what is the special element that we can yield from the photo. Plan and try to imagine how your photo would turn out eventually. Are you missing out on any crucial elements like the composition, exposure, background etc? The formula is simple. Think and shoot. Later on, you’ll be equiped with valueable experience and all those thinking would no longer be necessary.
It was the 21st ramadhan and nothing would fill our time better than ibadah to Him. The guy was reciting the holy words of quran and I simply could not stop looking at his reflection underneath. The lighting is excellent in unleashing the reflection on the marble and the subject simply blend in perfectly with other elements. The stream of light showering his shoulder might not be that astonishing if he’s wearing black. After some time spent on framing the picture the way that might please me the most, I took the shot and ponder upon the picture appeared on the camera’s display. He really knows how to touch His servant’s heart and I guess photography is a gift from Him solely to do just that.
Well then, this is pabilahatibersinar.jpeg and till next shot.

The camera mechanism is invented trying to resemble how our eyes work. People said that just like our eyes that work with the eyelid, pupil and retina, the camera works with the shutter speed, aperture and its sensor. So as in the photo, with a longer shutter speed but smaller aperture, the camera allows me to produce such dreamy effect on the water.
But what if we can control our eyelid speed to equate that of a shutter speed and the pupil size to that the aperture’s would we see about the same thing? Well maybe the answer is YES. But at the same time, NO. The eyes are much more complicated, built intelligently only by Him. They are built for a purpose to see continuously, not to permanently record the image. Hurmm…Now it sounds like the eyes are more like the camera on video mode.I can’t comment much on it as I don’t really know much about the video recording mechanism, but I bet there should be a resemblance.
Over the past few months I have been fascinated by such dreamy effect the water could appear as image. I have been experimenting with loads of them and could never be disappointed with the result. Instead, it makes me weirdly craving for flowing water shots anywhere I go. Hopefully next time I would force myself to wake up early in the morning hunting for some spectacular shots of waterfall.(Yeah, I haven’t shot any decent one yet).
Well then, this is Seindahairmata.jpeg and till next shoot.

It took me awhile to remember why I actually snap this. Kinda hoping for a unique-perspective result. The ‘shaved’ like pattern along the tree makes it a little bit extraordinary, isn’t it? I’m not sure about its nature but my instinct suggesting that this is no work of other creature. It would be really helpful if anybody could tell me what type of tree it is( Yes, I did google it but nothing useful came out ;| ).
Having ‘hunting’ for quite a lot of landscape and nature photos, it would be reckless and ignorance of me if I don’t realize His amazing might and knowledge. His creations are wonders to human eyes and a self-reflection for the heart. With that, I hope that all my works so far has been beneficial and meaningful to others as they are to me.

It was ramadhan 1432H and I have just performed my friday prayer on a floating mosque somewhere in Penang. It was built on the shore near a fisherman village, promising some spectacular views if the angle is right. Decided to ease my mind a little, I went out for a walk and located some unattended boats, which I think would look good if properly composed. Reluctantly ignoring my colleagues cried to leave the spot, I grab my buddy and took some shots. ChaChaak!
