The camera mechanism is invented trying to resemble how our eyes work. People said that just like our eyes that work with the eyelid, pupil and retina, the camera works with the shutter speed, aperture and its sensor. So as in the photo, with a longer shutter speed but smaller aperture, the camera allows me to produce such dreamy effect on the water.
But what if we can control our eyelid speed to equate that of a shutter speed and the pupil size to that the aperture’s would we see about the same thing? Well maybe the answer is YES. But at the same time, NO. The eyes are much more complicated, built intelligently only by Him. They are built for a purpose to see continuously, not to permanently record the image. Hurmm…Now it sounds like the eyes are more like the camera on video mode.I can’t comment much on it as I don’t really know much about the video recording mechanism, but I bet there should be a resemblance.
Over the past few months I have been fascinated by such dreamy effect the water could appear as image. I have been experimenting with loads of them and could never be disappointed with the result. Instead, it makes me weirdly craving for flowing water shots anywhere I go. Hopefully next time I would force myself to wake up early in the morning hunting for some spectacular shots of waterfall.(Yeah, I haven’t shot any decent one yet).
Well then, this is Seindahairmata.jpeg and till next shoot.
